At murrayfieldparking.co.uk, all parking bookings are final and non-refundable. Please ensure you have selected the correct date and event before completing your purchase, as we are unable to offer refunds, cancellations, or exchanges once a booking is confirmed.
Sometimes, at our own discretion, we may offer refunds for accidental double-bookings and date changes. These may incur a small fee to process.
2. No Cooling-Off Period
The services we provide are for parking reservations on specific dates to coincide with leisure activities (such as rugby matches, concerts, and other events at Murrayfield Stadium).
Under UK law, specifically The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, contracts for the supply of services related to leisure activities on a specific date or period of performance are exempt from the standard 14-day “cooling-off” cancellation period.
Therefore, you do not have a right to cancel your booking or receive a refund within 14 days of purchase. This exemption allows us to manage capacity and guarantee spaces for our customers and revenue for our community partners.
3. Non-Attendance
Failure to use your booked parking space for any reason, including but not limited to, changes in personal plans, illness, travel disruption, or adverse weather conditions, does not make you eligible for a refund. Your booking reserves a specific space for a specific date, and it will be held for you for the duration of the event.
4. Event Cancellation or Rescheduling
If the primary event at Murrayfield Stadium (e.g., the concert or match) is cancelled or rescheduled by the event organiser, this does not automatically entitle you to a refund for your parking booking. Our service is the provision of a parking space, which remains available unless our partner venue (the school or sports club) is forced to close.
In the rare circumstance that we are unable to provide the parking service due to the closure of our partner venue, we will communicate directly with affected customers regarding the status of their booking.
